Simon Albers
Simon Albers has been involved in software development since the early 90s. He is fascinated by the different facets of a computer's increasing pervasiveness in our lives.
Studying information science and working in the field of cognitive psychology, these interests were complemented by the user experience and the usability of a software.
In his further professional steps, he specialized in the programming language Java with a strong focus on graphical user interfaces. He has worked as a developer, consultant and project manager in numerous customer projects. In addition to implementation, this also included the analysis and optimization of software architectures.
Since 2005 he has additionally been managing director of IT companies and places great value to a balanced corporate culture.
Dr. Markus Weber
Dr. Markus Weber has been working in the UX sector since the beginning of the 2000s.
He holds a diploma in psychology and received his doctorate in cognitive psychology. Accordingly, when it comes to designing products and services with a positive user experience, he attaches particular importance to the exploration and inclusion of the human-centered perspective.
His activities focus on user research, usability evaluation and interaction design.
He engages with the UX community via Twitter and as a regular contributor to the conference series "Mensch und Computer" / "Usability Professionals".
Petra Ripplinger
Petra Ripplinger has a long work experience as personal assistant on management level. As trained bank officer and language secretary she has worked in diverse sectors (chemical industry, advertising, banking) and is therefore perfectly acquainted with all tasks and procedures in modern office management. At Pixopia she is in charge of accounting and all matters of organization and administration.
